The 31st China Chefs Festival Took place in Chaozhou

On November 19-21, 2022, with the theme of “Chaozhou Cuisine: of the World, for the World”, the 31st China Chefs Festival took place in Chaozhou. A forum was held to talk about ways to inherit and innovate the national intangible heritage of Chaozhou cuisine. A Chaozhou cuisine cooking contest was also organized. The story of Chaozhou cuisine spread through discussions of culinary theory, demonstration of cooking expertise and tasting of local delicacies, which helped the application for UCCN City of Gastronomy. Yang Liu, Director of the China Cuisine Association, attended the opening ceremony.
