Chaozhou Secondary Vocational School has been known for integrating the city’s traditional art and culture into its curriculums. The arts and crafts training building is filled with facilities for the city’s national intangible cultural heritages, contributing to the inheritance, promotion, practice and exchanges of notable traditional culture. To be specific, there are multi-functional practice studios for handmade red clay teapots, pottery sculptures and clay arts, and workshops for wood carving, Chaozhou embroidery, straw paintings, and Kung Fu tea. Students can learn the fundamentals and advanced techniques, such as creative modeling and skills, of all of the arts and crafts above. In this way, fine traditional treasures will be inherited, promoted and exposed to more people than ever.
