“The Flavor of Guangdong” of “International Tea Day: Tea and Ambassadors” was successfully concluded in Beijing on April 2, 2021.
The event was co-organized by the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA), Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Chaozhou. Envoys of Fiji, Samoa, and Sudan, the African Union Representative Office in China, the China Office of United Nations World Food Program, and the Representative Office of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in China attended the event. They appreciated Chinese tea and experienced its long-standing culture with Chinese participants, including Zhang Shaogang, Vice President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, representatives of provincial and municipal agricultural offices, Alibaba Group, tea businesses, and experts of the industry.
Chaozhou Dancong Tea, one of the best oolong teas with floral fragrance and mellow, sweet taste, together with two other typical teas of the province, was carefully selected for the event, bringing the ambassadors the great enjoyment of Chinese tea.
