Located in the city downtown in Xiaoqiao District, Xiangdele Restaurant enjoys a predominant location and a favorable setting. Thanks to decades of dedication to Chaozhou cuisine and its head chef Fang Shuguang, a world-famous chef and inheritor of Chaozhou delicacies, it has become a time-honored name of the city and guardian of the local gastronomy, an intangible cultural heritage at the provincial level. In 2008, Mr. Chua Lam, one of the four great minds of Hong Kong, left a piece of Chinese calligraphy reading “Xiangdele is the best” after tasting some dishes at the Restaurant.

The Restaurant has introduced many innovative dishes built on the traditional ones and created award-winners such as Flower-shaped Dried Squid, Dragon’s Celebration of the Chinese New Year, and Icy Deep-Sea Fish Maw.

Also, the Restaurant has received many interviews and reports from domestic and foreign media and participated in exchanges activities on the culture and skills of Chaozhou cuisine at home and abroad for many years, gradually gaining a good reputation.
