Recently, following the establishment of the Chaozhou Catering Association, the first council and board of supervisors have been elected. The Association aims to regulate operation and competition of catering services, work on a clean industrial market, effectively integrate the city’s industrial resources, and promote local dietary culture. Zhang Sheng, the Chair of the council, said that the Association would fulfill its duty, including organizing several Chaozhou cuisine competitions and promoting the industry with specific rules, regulations and industrialization.
