In December, 2020, the city of Chaozhou initiated research, drafting and review of Chaozhou Beef Meatball Standards. After six months of hard work, the Standards came into effect on March 30^th, 2021, and its logo was put into use on May 1^st. The Standards provide in details for technological requirements, ingredients scope, physical and chemical indicators, testing rules etc.. Its implementation and the promotion of its logo will further enhanced the reputation of Chaozhou beef meatballs, the influence of Chaozhou cuisines and the sustainable development of the catering industry.
