From March 15th to 17th, Chaozhou and Shaoguan engaged in exchanges of cooking skills between the chefs of the two cities, carried out apprenticeship ceremony and inauguration ceremony of Shaoguan Chaozhou Cuisines Innovation Research Institute. To enhance the influence of Chaozhou cuisines and promote further development of the catering industry, the event, as an important measure for the cuisines to go global, was sponsored by Chaozhou Culinary Arts Association and organized by Chaozhou Catering Association. The teams of the event were led by Mr. Chen Guohui, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Chaozhou Culinary Arts Association, and Mr. Fang Shuguang, China Master Chef and Inheritor of Intangible Cultural Heritages of Chaozhou Cuisines.
